Warden of the Dead
|
Synopsis :
A 13 year old teenager, “The Boy”, lives and works in a cemetery. Growing up with
the dead instils in him an obsession as well as respect for death. Many people depend
on him: an unhappy old man, former politician, who yearns for death, a make up artist
for the deceased and a painter who dreams of achieving his masterpiece. The boy
has only one aim: making people happy and helping them to die.

Ilian Simeonov Director of "Warden of the Dead"
Ilian Simeonov has received a Master Degree in Film directing by the National Academy
of Sofia, Bulgaria. He has been awarded numerous prizes for his films. Among his
works: Border – 1993, I have an Idea – 1997, Sombrero Blues – 1998 and Rage – 2001.
Warden of the Dead is his first feature film.
