Synopsis:
In the year 2057, the Sun is failing and the Icarus project has been formed with
the intent of travelling to the star and detonating a massive thermonuclear payload
to reignite it. Life on Earth is doomed if the mission fails.

DIRECTOR’S CV:
Danny Boyle was born in 1956 in Lancashire, England. After working in theatre, he
made his feature film directorial debut with Shallow Grave in 1994, an instant commercial
and critical success. Next followed the film Trainspotting which is considered among
the most influential and iconic British films of the 1990’s. Among his works: A
Life Less Ordinary – 1997, The Beach – 2000, 28 Days Later – 2002 and Millions 2004.
