He is, however a professional and, killing criminals, is just another day of work for him. There are two things that make him forget the violence in his daily life: his children and his platonic love for Funda, a student who is 40 years younger than him. On his 63rd birthday, Musa Rami kills an important mafia leader. Ironically, the next day, he learns that he will die within two months due to a brain tumour. Meanwhile, the gangs of the dead mafia leader are after Musa Rami’s children, seeking revenge… Onur Unlu Director of " Police" Onur Unlu was born in 1973 in Izmit, Turkey. He graduated from the Anadolu University, Faculty of Communication Sciences. He received his Master’s degree from Marmara University in the same discipline. Since 1997, Unlu has worked as a film screenwriter, copywriter, producer and director. He is also known as “Ah Muhsin Unlu”, an underground poet of the new generation Turkish literature. “Polis” is his first feature film as a director.
