Abu Laila was a judge, but the government couldn't pay him anymore; he is forced to be a taxi driver. On the seventh birthday of his daughter Laila, his wife insists that he has to come home early and bring a present and a cake. However, the daily life in Palestine is a bit chaotic and takes him in many other directions before he gets home.
