The Guardian’s Son
|
Synopsis:
Marcos, an ambitious young journalist in a provincial TV channel, is trying to retrieve
a gun stolen from his Candid-Camera type show. His search leads him in his mother’s
forsaken village on the south-western slopes of Mount Pindos. In his attempt to
reprieve the gun, he comes up against Elias, a strange young man who is the son
of the village’s guardian. Their clash will have unforeseen results, for them as
well as the villagers.

Dimitris Koutsiabasakos Director of " The Guardian's Son"
Dimitris Koutsiabasakos was born in 1967 in Greece. He studied Film and Television
Directing at the National Institute for Cinematography (VGIK) in Moscow. His short
films have been awarded in several international film festivals. Among his works:
Colline – 1998, Frieda – 2001, Le Pont – 1995. The Guardian’s Son is his first feature
film
