Victor Okhai, one of the founders of the Directors’ Guild of Nigeria, is a producer, scriptwriter, director and film consultant. He attended courses in film production at NAFTI (Ghana), CIFAP (France), Deustche Welle Akademie (Germany) amongst others. Currently the Director of the International Film and Broadcast Academy in Lagos, he is in great demand as a teacher and resource person on film locally and internationally and has delivered papers on the Nollywood phenomenon in various universities and film festivals. Victor Okhai has sat on the jury of several film contests and festivals including the 1st Nigerian international student’s film festival organized by the National Film Institute, as well as “Killing Africa, Healing Africa” – Goethe Institut’s Pan African Short Film competition (West African zone) 2007, and the African Movie Academy Awards AMAA 2008. He also produced the 2009 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) – The African Oscars – for a worldwide Television Audience. Okhai is a consultant to many organizations on film, television production and broadcasting including Channels Television, Imo Television, AIT, MBI TV, DeutcheWelle (Africa Dept), BBC world service Trust, Goethe Institut Lagos, The German Embassy in Nigeria, and Berlinale. A recipient of the prestigious International Visitor’s Programme fellowship of the German Foreign Ministry, Victor is a Director of the Musical Copyright Society of Nigeria, the President, Lagos German Alumni Association and Board Member, Nollywood Business Forum. He is also a member of the Directors Guild of Nigeria, Independent Television Producers Association of Nigeria and the Scriptwriters Guild of Nigeria.

منتج و سيناريست و مخرج و مستشار فني و احد مؤسسي لجنة مخرجي نيجيريا . يحمل درجة الماجستير في العلاقات العامة من جامعة نيجيريا و حضر دورات في الانتاج السينمائي في غانا و فرنسا و المانيا و لاجوس. يراس الان اكاديمية الفيلم العالمي في لاجوس و قدم عدة دراسات بجامعات مختلفة و مهرجانات سينمائية عن السينما في العالم. رأس لجان تحكيم عدة مهرجانات عالمية منها مهرجان افلام الطلاب الاول في نيجيريا الذي عقد من 18 حتى 21 يناير 2006 ، و راس مسابقة الافلام القصيرة لمعهد جوته حول " اقتل افريقيا ...عالج افريقيا " و اكاديمية الفيلم الافرقي عام 2008 . انتج ايضا توزيع مسابقة اكاديمية الفيلم الافريقي او ما يعرف بجائزة اوسكار الافريقية للجماهير على التليفزيون. و هو مستشار فني لعدد من المنظمات حول السينما و الانتاج التليفزيوني مثل محطات ايمو و ام بى اى و الدويتشه فيلله و بي بي سي و معاهد جوته في لاجوس و السفارة الالمانية في نيجيريا و البرليناله. حصل على جائزة من برنامج الزائر الدولي في وزارة الخارجية الالمانية ، كما انه مدير جماعة حقوق الموسيقى في نيجيريا و رئيس الرابطة الالمانية في لاجوس و عضو بمنتدي الاعمال. كما انه ايضا عضو في جماعة المخرجين في نيجيريا و جمعية الكتاب و منتجي التلفزيون في نيجيريا.
