Antonia Pizzo was born in 1966 in Naples, Italy. He obtained a degree in Modern Literature from the University of Naples. He has a PhD in Modern and Contemporary Theatre from the joint programme between Naples and Salerno universities. He currently teaches at the University of Turin. Pizzo is a widely recognized professor, researcher and writer. Among his books: Materiali e machine nel teatro di Remondi e Caporossi – 1992, Teatro e mondo digitale – 2003 and Il Giardino dei ciliegi di Cechov per Peter Brook – 2004.
